Very few people make money from ONE source of income, enough to give the best to their family.  Percentage wise that would be less than 1% people.  For the rest, more than one source of income is a must, especially in the US.  Millions of people spend half of their income just on rent and utilities, then have to manage all other expenses in the remaining half of their income! Majority of the homeowners cannot pay off their mortgage (home loan) in their lifetime! I can go on and on.  The only way out is to have multiple sources of income.

The good news is that it is very easy to have two or multiple sources of income in this country especially!  Besides a job, you can easily make additional income driving rideshare (Uber/ Lyft), you can do DoorDash or Amazon delivery, you can rent your spare room or a spare car to somebody.  There is a long list of active and passive income opportunities.
