One of the oldest ways of making passive income is to rent out a room in your home to somebody.  That person stays (or lives) with you like a guest, and shares other facilities of the home, such as kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc.  However, since the person pays you for the shelter, that guest is called a ‘Paying Guest’.
